Steven Sung

Dr Steven Sung, PhD

Dr. Steven Sung is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner with AHPRA and AACMA. He has a strong interest in studying the naturally beneficial effects of Chinese medicine.

Steven has an extensive background in the field of Chinese medicine. He received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree with 1st class honours in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He then went on to complete a PhD and was awarded a Doctorate degree also with 1st class honours. Steven served as the Executive Vice-President of the Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopaedic & Traumatic Association and as a Trustee Council Member of the World Union of Manual Medicine.

With over 10 years of clinical experience in hospitals and clinics in Australia and Hong Kong, Steven is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind Chinese medicine practitioner. He is passionate about helping patients with symptoms associated with injuries and chronic diseases, nerve and pain conditions. Steven values the importance of mental health and takes a holistic approach to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, he has a particular interest in cosmetic acupuncture, acupuncture IVF support for infertility, as well as symptoms of hay fever, eczema, skin, and sleeping disorders.

During his leisure time, Steven enjoys swimming and playing badminton to maintain fitness and a healthy lifestyle. He also plays the ukulele and guitar to relax, soothe the channels, and improve circulation. Steven is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and is a member of AACMA.
Rihanna Zhou

Dr Rihanna Zhou

Rihanna is a registered acupuncturist and herbalist with AHPRA and CMASA. She is a sincere and caring practitioner who began studying Chinese medicine at a very young age with her master, who was the heir of an imperial doctor of the Qing dynasty.

After 8 years of study at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Rihanna received a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a national 1st-honor academic scholarship. She then worked at the most prestigious TCM hospitals in Beijing, China, where she gained valuable clinical experience in acupuncture and herbal medicine for various syndromes and diseases.

Rihanna was the director of two TCM research projects in China, has over 10 publications, and has participated in Chinese medicine academic conferences worldwide, including the USA and South Korea. As a mother, Rihanna values the importance of women’s health issues and children's well-being.

During her spare time, Rihanna enjoys spending time with her kids and playing the piano. She also speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Chris is a registered acupuncturist with a passion for holistic healing and wellness. His journey into the world of acupuncture began in 2011, driven by a deep fascination with traditional Chinese medicine and its profound understanding of the body's energy system. After completing his degree in Chinese medicine at Henan University of Chinese Medicine, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a degree in health science with a focus on acupuncture from Endeavour College of Natural Health, where he was trained in various modalities including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and herbal medicine.

His approach to healing is rooted in the belief that true wellness is achieved through a balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Chris has a keen interest in treating a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain and stress-related disorders to digestive issues and insomnia, with a focus on personalized care. He is deeply committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for his patients, where they can embark on their healing journey with confidence and peace of mind. His practice is not just about alleviating symptoms but also about working together with his patients to uncover the root causes of their ailments and promote lasting health and well-being.

Chris continuously expands his knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities. This commitment to learning ensures that he can offer effective and evidence-based treatments to his patients. Chris is registered with AHPRA and holds the qualification of Doctor of Acupuncture from the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies. He is also a member of AACMA and CMASA. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Chris enjoying his books or catching up with friends for basketball games. He is also very fond of traveling, capturing moments through photography, and documenting his adventures in travel journals.
Ping Kapica

Dr. Ping Kapica is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and AHPRA. She is also a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).

She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture Therapies and a Diploma of Health Science in Chinese Remedial Massage from Endeavour College Australia. She has also completed advanced training and internships with world-renowned acupuncturists and Chinese medicine practitioners. Her expertise includes Balance Method Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, and Tung Acupuncture, known for their effectiveness in facial rejuvenation, women’s health, neurological support, anxiety and depression.

Married with two children, Dr. Ping is passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and families across all life stages.

Recognised for her caring, thoughtful, and patient-focused approach, Dr. Ping offers personalised treatments using a wide range of traditional Chinese medicine therapies, including acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, fire cupping, Gua Sha, acupressure, and Tuina.

She welcomes patients of all ages—from children to seniors—tailoring each treatment to suit their needs. For younger patients, she often uses gentle, non-needling methods such as acupressure and Tuina for comfort and safety. Whether for recovery, long-term wellness, healthy aging, or seasonal tune-ups, Dr. Ping’s goal is to provide natural, holistic care that promotes balance and vitality.
